5. Bradford Hot Water Heater Pilot Light

   Phil is a great guy and responded immediately to my email and was at the house within 2 hours. He had my Bradford back up and running in less than 30 minutes- true pro and very respectful to the homeowner- will use him again for my heater/AC.

    Phil of Tri-Elite-Advisors asked me to write a review of his recent work, which I’m only happy to do. I was impressed with his know-how and workmanship. Please let me know if there is more I can do. The following represents my comments:

    Over the weekend my heating system went down.  Naturally I called the company whose stickers were all over my closet and air handler. After hours of no emergency service return call, I went to Home Advisor on the net with the purpose of combing potential emergency HVAC contractors. I must mention I am a retired HVAC, plumbing and fire protection design engineer. My experience is in large building construction, high rise, large commercial box stores, hospitals etc. Moreover I traveled the entire country and can expertly say that I have seen everything in my 44 year career.

    I say this because within minutes of visiting Home Advisor a polite young man called me and said he could be in my home in twenty minutes. He arrived, performed the diagnostics and explained the problems both technically and visually. That’s when I informed Phil of my background. We hit it off instantly.Long story short we collectively agreed it wasn’t economically feasible to replace the burnt motherboard and the spark ignition, among a couple other indoor problems.

    In October the cooling side of my system went down and I had planned to replace that portion in the spring. I decided to go for the gusto and buy a new entire system.Phil politely walked me through the new technology and we embarked on the replacement. Phil and his associate proceeded to perform on the highest level of craftsmanship. Temporary floor protection, gentle with all adjacent surfaces, protective boot covers, on and on. Phil provided appurtenances that I wouldn’t have immediately thought of. He takes pride in every detail of his work. He reminded me of the many top flight technicians I met over my many years in the business.

    Phil and Tri Elite Advisors are now my service contractor for the years to come. I enjoyed his company for the two days we had together. I’m a director on the board of a large condominium association and responsible for the mechanical aspects of our campus. You can rest assured Phil will be my go-to-guy when a neighbor has the same misfortune of no heat or no cooling, or just needs a typical system checkup.

    In closing, I have critiqued many contractors in my time from A to Z and top to bottom. Phil and Tri-Elite-Advisors belongs at the top of the crown. I wish him success in all his future endeavors.
